This bass recorder of Heinrich from the Master Series is made of pearwood. The instrument has a wonderful dark, full and sonorous sound. It is a beautifully crafted sophisticated recorder for advanced players.
The recorder has baroque fingering with single keys for F, A, H and a double hole for g/g#. It has a bass cap and crook, but can also played directly. This recorder is a professional instrument, it has a very wide scale, even for a bass recorder. Playing the keys need some practice. The recorder is in spite of its age in very good condition. Labium and corks are in perfect condition the parts fit togehter beautifully, keys and keypads are in good working order.
It has some superficial scratches in the paint, but these are more stock than play tracks, a small notch at the thumb hole and a few chips at the decorring of the bottom joint. The Recorder is delivered in the matching leather case.
